Volvo enthusiasts, we used to tell you about the T6 engine, but now it’s called the B6 AWD. It’s a 4-cylinder 2.0 L turbo engine with a mild hybrid system connected to a 48-volt battery. This new mill in the Volvo V90 Cross Country develops 295 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque. The engine is coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission to deliver the power you need to all 4 wheels.
With this new powertrain, you can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.4 seconds. In terms of fuel consumption, the V90 boasts a combined fuel consumption of 9.7 L/100 km and 8.3 L/100 km on the highway.
